Warren Hinder - Bio
I was born in Sydney, Australia in 1955. Photography has always been a part of my life, for as soon
as I left school I became a Lithographic Camera Operator and the die was cast. I soon found myself
photographing city and natural landscapes for magazines such as Simply Living and other lifestyle
journals
As the lithography trade disappeared with the digital and desktop publishing revolution, I moved into technical sales and have spent the past twenty-five years in the Graphic Arts Industry. The vast majority of my spare time is taken up seeking out the essence of a subject, whether that subject is a landscape or a person, then sharing that unique moment with others.
I draw great inspiration from the area I live in, the Blue Mountains of New South Wales, an ancient landscape that offers never ending photographic opportunity. Other inspirations are the many photographers of the past century who have captured that unique moment in time and allowed generations of people to better understand our planet and our humanity.
